Nicole & Michael’s intimate Asheville waterfall elopement was divine! The heavens opened that day but nothing could stop their love for each other as they said their vows. 

We had a video call two weeks prior to their wedding and they said that they were inspired by viking/nordic culture. Michael asked if he could bring along his axe? The axe was just for display but made him feel unique!

Nicole was the epitome of boho/glam and Michael made such a handsome viking. 

I adore rainy weddings, they add so much drama and the light…oh my goodness, that chiaroscuro light!

When you choose a dark backdrop (such as a cave) you are not going to receive a “light & airy” wedding gallery but you are going to get drama, shadows and the focus on the two of you. I think it’s exquisite.  

The Pisgah National Forest is less than one hour from Asheville.
